Traditionally the farming community would come to church following the Christmas break to ask God to bless their labours as they got to work in the fields. It’s still good for us to remember that we might make plans and toil, but it is God who gives the growth.
The Plough Sunday service begins at 10:30am. This ends outside sending off the Annual Bures Tractor run with a blessing at around 11:30am.
