Greetings from us all here at the Cathedral in this Epiphany season.
Parishes, Benefices, Deaneries are, as in previous years, warmly invited to the Cathedral for the annual traditional Candlelit Epiphany Procession, a reflective celebration of readings and carols recalling the ‘three signs’ which mark Jesus as Saviour for all peoples of the world. The service is at 3.3pm this Sunday, 23 January, led by the cathedral choir and Bishop.
Do know that you are warmly welcome to come to this as we reflect on the meaning for our lives of Epiphany and as we journey towards Lent. Do share the details with your own network of contacts if it does not clash with anything that you may already be doing to mark the season. No need to book though it is helpful if you can let us know if you hope to bring a group from your parish or benefice – just drop an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
This comes with warm wishes and prayers from Dean Joe, myself and all of us here.
